Join us in beautiful Santa Barbara California. Santa Barbara is a beautiful peaceful community located less than two hours north of Los Angeles. Nestled between the
Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, it is often referred to as the "American Rivera."
This Dog Adventure will take place at the beautiful Fess Parker's Doubletree Inn, located across the street from the ocean. The hotel grounds have beautiful walkways
and dogs are welcome almost everywhere on the grounds. The weekend begins at check-in with a dog and people mixer. Meet the BKT staff and see the dog care facilities.
The following morning join us in the open-air rotunda for a buffet breakfast and a presentation about all of the weekends events. Then off on a fun filled day that begins at
the historic Santa Barbara Mission, where after a few minutes to explore the inside of the Mission, the Franciscan Monks will come out an bless the dogs. After that we will take
a short ride to the beautiful Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens, where we will take a hike along with our dogs, experiencing the beautiful botanical gifts that the Gardens offers.
Then we are off for a picnic lunch at the beautiful Goleta State Beach Park where we will eat and then spend a few hours playing on the beach in an off leash beach area.
The next day you can spend the day learning either learning about Fly-Ball, work with dog trainers, take a walk along the beautiful beach paths, take a guided Red Tile tour
and see the most beautiful courthouse in the world. Or you can put your pup in dog day care and spend the afternoon shopping in beautiful Paseo Nuevo outdoor mall. Enjoy a
relaxing lunch along State Street and window shop in one of the most beautiful outdoor malls in the country. That evening join us for a Sunset Dinner on the beach, across from
the Fess Parker's Doubletree Hotel, where you will enjoy the Margarita's that Santa Barbara is famous for along with a yummy Southwestern Buffet. Join us for an auction that will
benefit local pet charities, a raffle and other neat door prizes. Also, experience Pet Communicator Marty Meyer, and special surprise guests!! This night is for both you and your
